Production Assembly Workers

$30ph casual rate
- Manufacturing, Assembly or similar background an advantage
- Project timeframe is 2-3 months

We are currently seeking skilled and safety conscious Production Assembly workers who can work on their own as well as in a team environment.

The project will be assisting the manufacturing team for fibre optics, cables and related products based out of the Mitcham facility.

As a Production Assembly worker, the role will consist of:

- Assembly of fibre cables to a high quality
- Assembly of optical connectors
- Operate fibre optic polishing machines
- Daily service of polishing machines and updating the service book
- Prior knowledge of fibre optic products is an advantage and priority will be given to those applicants

**About you**:

- **Be able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day**:

- **Excellent manual handling and repetitive motion abilities**:

- **Excellent eye sight**:

- Adherence to safety requirements and company policies
- Accurate time and record keeping
- Good communication skills
- Being able to work effectively in a team
- All shortlisted applicants will be required to successfully undertake an interview and short medical assessment._

These roles are ongoing for approximately 2-3 months and you must be able to commit to the entire project due to the training involved.
