We are currently looking for a Civil Design Manager to join the Planning & Projects team.

**What you'll do**:
Your role will involve leading the design development and documentation phases of civil infrastructure, road construction, carpark expansion and airfield pavement projects at Perth Airport. In this role you will be responsible for developing and agreeing the project brief, establishing the vision, objectives and priorities for civil projects. The Civil Design Manager is also responsible for the assessment of a projects technical and commercial viability ensuring alignment with Perth Airport’s design frameworks and processes. You will provide oversight of all aspects of the design process including cost, risk and value management, Safety in Design considerations, constraints and opportunities mapping, optioneering and feasibility studies. You will be required to engage and manage consultant teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with approved Master Plans and business strategies.

You'll challenge where necessary to ensure the best design outcomes and ensure project design is fit for purpose.

**About you**:
You hold a tertiary education in one of the following:

- civil engineering, design management and / or project management and you will demonstrate relevant experience in the delivery of civil design deliverables, including stakeholder management, design management, safety, cost, time, and risk assessments to enable project decision making.

While this role is advertised as full-time, we are happy to consider requests for flexibility around working hours.
