We are seeking an outgoing, active, friendly and nurturing nanny to assist a loving professional family in Nundah-Brisbane (QLD). The nanny will be responsible for caring for a happy 8 month old baby girl.

**The days and normal hours -2 days - 16-20 hours per week (Flexible)**

**Mon/Wed (Preference) 8.00am - 4.00pm**

An ideal nanny will be outgoing, active and engaging but also calm, nurturing and patient with a friendly/happy personality.

A nanny that has a genuine love of babies and can dedicate their time to the baby and enhance her learning and development on a daily basis. Enjoy planning and engaging the baby in age appropriate activities like singing, playing games, fun sensory activities and taking her out for walks and to the playground. The nanny will need to follow the baby's routine and assist with some light household chores.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible,safe, reliable, punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the baby
- Provide routine and structure
- Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)
- Take the baby out for walks/park/playground etc.
- Assist with light household duties -Helpful if it works with the baby’s schedule. Light cleaning (dishes, cleaning kitchen etc.) and laundry (washing & drying clothes, folding laundry).

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Baby experience
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active and enjoy the outdoors and walking
- Non smoking
