**THE SCHOOL-BASED APPRENTICESHIP**

Do you have a passion for the mechanical industry but not sure you want to work in a hands-on role? Don’t have much experience, but are looking to get your foot in the door in the mechanical industry? If you have good communication skills and are interested in gaining exposure with customer service and sales experience. Then an **Automotive Parts Interpreter School-Based Apprenticeship** could be what you are looking for

Undertaking this full-time **School-Based Apprenticeship** will give you the opportunity to gain fulltime employment after school and become a qualified Automotive Parts Interpreter and earn your (AUR31020) **Certificate III in Automotive Sales - Parts Interpreting.**

As an apprentice your responsibilities will include receiving orders and parts, ordering parts from suppliers and the warehouse on behalf of the field team, keeping stock and sales records, preparing invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock, and keeping internal and external clients up to speed with the progress of their orders.

Our host employer based in **Acacia Ridge** and is a nationally based company that distributes a wide variety of construction equipment and large trucks.

**WHO SHOULD APPLY?**

Previous experience in a customer focused, sales or warehouse role will be a plus, however more importantly we are looking for an individual who is looking for a long-term career working with a nationally recognised supplier to the automotive and construction equipment industry.

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Team orientated
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Police Clearance
