**Production Manager**

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated Production Manager that is Mechanically minded to join the team at Bescon Industries a family-owned business with over 40 years' of manufacturing concrete products for the construction industry. Our focus is on producing the highest quality products and services to the Australian and International Markets.

Our company specializes in the manufacturing of decorative concreting products of which include powdered, liquid, and stainless-steel finishing tools and the development of new products to suit an ever-changing market.

The main role will be leading the team in the production of many products at our manufacturing plant and Mechanical repairs, servicing of hire equipment to the concreting and construction industry. Additional tasks may include onsite deliveries, trade sales, warehouse restocking, maintenance, and ad hoc tasks.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Reporting to the General Manager.
- Able to work autonomously and unsupervised.
- Exceptional customer service and be a team leader, as well as working independently in a mid/fast-paced growing environment.
- Strong verbal and written English Skills
- Good Computer and logging skills an advantage MYOB
- Logistics / Freight / Deliveries
- MYOB administration & auto build of products
- Strong Awareness and ability to follow company policies and procedures
- A strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
- Physically Fit & Ability to lift heavy objects & manual labour
- Using hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn and adapt to other production processes as required.
- Quality assessment pre-dispatch
- Experience with Machining and Blending programme operations (advantageous but not essential)
- Capable of the general maintenance, repair & upkeep of machinery, manufacture equipment, tooling and processes

**Skills and experience**
- A good work ethic and good communication skills
- Mechanically Minded (Qualified Mechanic advantageous not essential)
- A current forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Able to work unsupervised
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow correct procedures both written and verbal

**Job Benefits & Perks**

- Minimum 38 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30 pm
