Grounds Keeper

Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S Program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream Maintenance and WSP. Over a 7-year period, D4C will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Grounds Maintenance worker to join our Facilities Management team based out of our Sydney Depot maintaining all of our Sydney Water sites.

**Activities may include a combination of the following**:

- Grass cutting
- Mowing
- Slashing of open grassed areas
- Weed control
- Garden maintenance
- Hardstand maintenance and courtyards
- Site maintenance including fence line clearing and general handyperson-type duties as required
- Fencing maintenance
- Graffiti removal
- Removal of green waste

To be successful in this position, you must have;
- White card
- Truck Licence - essential
- Chemical Spraying accreditation (AQF3)
- Recent experience in a similar role
