Lead Data Analyst

**About the role**:
Responsible for generating data-driven insights and identifying business opportunities for your functional and cross-functional team. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and a team data analysts to plan, prioritise, and deliver immense value to the business. This role will help improve our current sales conversion rate.

**How you will add value**:

- Identifies data commercialisation opportunities and develops business cases where relevant
- Advise on the required setup hypothesis-driven testing and direct teste from conception to conclusion.
- Select, acquire and integrate structured data from disparate sources required to deliver actionable insights.
- Oversees the activities of data analysts and runs code reviews to support and coach team members
- Collaborates closely with the data engineers to production data assets
- Build econometric and statistical models for various business problems leaning on your toolbox of projections, classification, clustering, pattern analysis and data mining.
- Develops data quality and data governance within the organisation
- Researches and recommends analytical methods and approaches for wider adoption across the business
- Contributes to open source data projects, whitepapers/research papers
- Contributes and advances analytics policy, standards, frameworks, testing methodology and guidelines within the data team

**About you**:

- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related qualification
- Hands-on experience in data analytics with a lens on SaaS Product Analysis/Development (A/B testing, causal impact analysis)
- Prior experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics and Tableau would be advantageous
- Proficient to query databases using advanced queries in SQL (Athena, Mysql) and advanced analytics using Python/R
- Advances expertise in using Business Intelligence solutions (Looker, Tableau, Redash, etc)
- Experience with Databricks, DBT and AWS technologies (Redshift, Athena, S3, Sagemaker)
