**About the Role**:
Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their daily lives? We seek a compassionate, reliable, experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. This rewarding role involves providing person-centered care and assistance to clients in the community, in their homes, and at local services.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in enhancing the lives of individuals with diverse needs, promoting their independence, dignity, and inclusion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and daily living support to clients, including assistance with mobility, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
- Support clients with household tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Assist clients with community engagement and social activities, supporting them to access local services and events.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client activities, progress, and incidents.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, family members, and support networks.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in disability support or a related field.
- Strong understanding of person-centered care and the rights of individuals with disabilities.
- Current Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle (essential for transporting clients).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful with a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related qualification (highly desirable but not essential).

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week

- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- CFA Certificate (preferred)
- Infection and Prevention Control Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
