Experienced Cabler

We are on the lookout for an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our field team. This role involves hands-on work with both underground and aerial networks, covering everything from installation to troubleshooting. You’ll be contributing to essential infrastructure while working alongside a skilled and supportive crew.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing plans, drawings and site specifications to determine the layout and connection points for installations
- Identifying and diagnosing faults using testing equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters and transmission tools
- Installing and securing cabling for data, fibre optic and computer systems
- Connecting cables to devices, appliances and network equipment
- Repairing, replacing or adjusting defective parts, then re-testing to ensure performance and safety
- Installing and configuring telecommunications equipment, including switchboards, handsets and other network devices

What We’re Looking For:

- At least 5 years’ practical experience in cabling, scoping, or related telecommunications work
- Solid understanding of NBN networks (preferred)
- White Card (mandatory)
- MR/HR Truck Licence (highly desirable)
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong focus on quality and safety standards

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
