Workshop Assistant wanted for Permanent Role with Naval Manufacturing Company

**Your new company**
Our client is a long-standing, internationally renowned producer of naval systems and equipment, including aircraft elevators, arrester gear and helicopter handling for surface ships, periscope-raising equipment and hydroplane/rudder drives for submarines. They are committed to maintaining a business ethic of transparency, integrity, equality, and a rigorous care for the environment.

**Your new role**
This is a mixed role, with some mechanical TA work, some cleaning and general maintenance and some stores/warehousing responsibility. No mechanical aptitude is required, just common sense and an ability to look for or ask for the next job. You’ll be another set of hands to the Fitters, do receipt and dispatch of goods when the storesperson is away, and keep the workshop and larger site clean and tidy. This is the perfect role an all-rounder who wants to keep busy and be part of a team, but who doesn’t need a super fast-paced job to feel satisfied.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Forklift licence
- Ability to pass medical and police check
- Some experience in a warehouse

**What you'll get in return**
- Full-time, permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, no weekends
- 1x monthly RDO
