**Child Care Worker (Group Leader)**

Geelong Children’s Centre is a community not for profit childcare providing high quality professional care and education to individual child.

We are now looking for a skilful full time (at least 38 hours per week) Child Care Worker (Group Leader) to join our centre.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children;
- Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits;
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care;
- Ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime;
- Managing children's behaviour and to guide social development of children;
- Preparation of materials for children's educational and recreational activities;
- Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention
- Arrange childcare or educational settings to ensure physical safety of children
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance, editing internal paperwork, and making phone calls
- Manage and supervise other educators and workers duties and activities;
- Maintain records of every children, including daily observations and information;
**Requirement**:

- At least 2 years relevant experience
- Possess a professional and enthusiastic attitude.
- Have high standards of personal presentation.
- Be committed to continual development and improvement both professionally and personally.
- Be a positive person who will develop strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the community in an inclusive manner.
- Actively join our group of educators with a focus on providing a culture of excellence in education, care and supervision of all children.

Position: Full Time

**Salary**: $70,000 - 90,000 per year
