**Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital and The Wesley Hospital team**

As a Biomedical Technician (Biomedical Solutions Specialist), you will be responsible for providing expert domain knowledge, implementation approach and process design to the Clinical Informatics Team and Biomedical Areas across all Uniting Care Health sites. You will also be responsible for contributing to the overall support of biomedical systems across all Uniting Care Health sites.

You will be based across both sites at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital and The Wesley Hospital.

**What makes a difference for us?**
- Qualifications in ICT infrastructure, information technology and technical architecture in a clinical discipline
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience with network management including installation and configuration of peripheral devices and network components, fault finding network communication issues and network security
- Highly developed technical infrastructure knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in network design, data centre design, real time location systems, virtual servers, storage and wireless technologies
- Experience with Oracle Electronic Medical Record System
- Experience with infrastructure design tools, infrastructure architecture design and integrated solutions
- Technical certification(s) in systems and networks - _desirable_
- Experience with medical electronics and medical equipment - _desirable_
- Knowledge of Standards Australia and other statutory requirements regarding medical equipment - _desirable_
- Possess or obtain a Restricted Electronic Work Licence - _desirable_
