Unite Resourcing is a leading labour hire and recruitment company specialising in the mining, civil and construction industries.

Our client is a multidisciplinary construction and engineering services provider to the Energy, Resources, Infrastructure, Marine and Defense sectors currently seeking multiple Mechanical Fitters for immediate start.

**Scope of Work**:
The scope of work covers a vast range of disciplines including structural and piping fabrication, SMP erection, refractory lining, insulation, and E&I installation works.

**Roster/Hours**:

- Monday to Friday
- Monday to Thursday: 6am Start - 4:45pm
- Friday: 6am Start - 3:00pm

**The Details**:

- Perform mechanical repairs and servicing of various civil and workshop plant and machinery.
- Conduct fault finding for breakdowns.
- Maintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materials
- Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment.
- Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
- Conduct marking and lining out.
- Perform planning tasks as requested.
- Carry out additional duties in line with your qualification.
- Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task.
- Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required.
- Comply with industry safety standards and work practices.
- Inspect your work area and complete Take-5 to assess risks and implement controls.
- Perform other general duties as required.
