Applications are invited for an Electorate Officer in the Camden Electorate Office of Sally Quinnell, MP.

**About the position**
The Camden Electorate Office is the point of contact for constituents and local community groups with the Member for Camden regarding State Government services and responsibilities.

The position holder will be the initial point of contact for all constituent enquiries. We are seeking someone who will uphold the highest level of professionalism, ethical behaviour, discretion, and loyalty - someone who will contribute to maximising workplace functionality, including the enhancing of efficiency and productivity in the office.

Knowledge of local issues will be highly regarded.

The role requires some after hours and weekend work for which an annual All Incidence of Employment Allowance is paid.

- Excellent writing skills including the ability to prepare correspondence, online and social media content, briefing notes, submissions, speeches, newsletters and media releases.
- Ability to work as part of a small team, contributing to office efficiency and team morale.
- Demonstrated superior organisational skills to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgement, ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues, while performing to a high standard under limited supervision.
- Demonstrated research and analytical skills including the ability to analyse policy and legislation.
- An interest in, and understanding of, the NSW political context and Australian parliamentary procedures and processes, as well as the issues affecting the local community.
- Good word processing/keyboard/database and computer skills in an office environment.
