**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Core responsibilities**:

- Liase with depot managers/supervisors to optimise operations
- Provide supervision and direction to the team
- Continuously monitor, record and review driver activities and identify areas for improvement with a focus on service.
- manage multiple vehicle types across multiple depots
- Recruit new drivers
- Onboading procedures for drivers,
- Ensure drivers follow depot specific site procedures
- Assist daily with delivery driver inquiries
- Perform regular vehicle inspections
- Have good knowledge of brisbane metro area
- Conduct toolbox meetings
- Arrange vehicles for collection
- Arrange site specific inductions across multiple depots

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous leadership experience of 2+ years supervising a small team
- Effective time management skills and ability to continuously review and prioritise tasks
- You’re customer service, safety focused and results driven, you are confident and pleasant in interacting with customers and team members across the business.
- You're a collaborative leader who loves to get your hands dirty alongside the team and lead by example
- Demonstrates a great attitude: to thrive in the role you will need to radiate positivity and be able to tackle any challenges head on with an optimistic leadership style.
- Has a strong work ethic: the hands-on nature of the role requires someone who is willing to lead from the front and support the team in a fluid and fast paced environment.
- Similar experience within the transport industry or managing transport suppliers
- Proven ability to analyse information, identify trends and make effective decisions
- Be a technological innovator with proven experience improving logístical systems
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal/ external contacts of all levels at all times
- Experience utilising MS Excel

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:
