About the Role
As the Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities you will have responsibility for the following:

- Responsible for day to day grounds work (e.g. lawn and garden maintenance)
- Attend to/or arrange repairs including those which relate to furniture and equipment specific to schools with students with disabiliites; locks and windows; and school facilities.
- Maintenance of swimming pool (e.g. water quality testing, keeping records of tests, adjusting/adding chemicals as consistent with occupational, health and safety (WHS) guidelines and procedures).
- Support with a variety of security duties including delivering and collecting mail, parcels and other goods, banking of school funds, and locking and unlocking buildings (having own vehicle is highly desirable).
- Moving/arranging furniture, removing and relocating furniture from room to room
- Liaise with various internal and external personnel (e.g. tradespersons).
