The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. About the Role
**You will be responsible for but not limited to the following**:

- Demonstrated ability to maintain Grounds / Facilities using industrial standard equipment
- Ability to conduct minor repairs and maintenance to Grounds / Facilities within DoE guidelines
- Capability to perform activities consistent with workplace, health and safety guidelines
- Ability to liaise with various departmental personnel and external contractors on a variety of repair and maintenance issues
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Drivers License and Blue Card is required.
- Whilst there are no mandatory trade accreditations required, trade certifications and experience working in a school would be advantageous and highly regarded.
- The school has beautiful green corridors and a strong environmental awareness ethos. Staff parking is available on site and the school is close to public transport, hardware stores and service providers.
- The applicant must consent to a criminal history check.
