**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Finance and Control team based in Rhodes. Reporting to the Business Planning Lead, you will work collaboratively with all support functions (in particular Decision Support) to provide financial guidance and assistance to support decision making.

**A day in the life**:
Reporting to the Business Planning Lead, key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Analyse and challenge product portfolio to identify cost optimisation opportunities, eliminate value destroyers and maximise the return on investment from Total trade spend (TTS) and Product Fixed Marketing Expenditure (PFME) (including revised pricing structure/prices) and from the capital base.
- Attend and actively participate in promotional evaluation
- Provide the primary financial support and challenge in regard to the New Product Development Innovation and Renovation (Business Case Building) process.
- Assist Financial Controller in strategy formulation and communication
- Key player in Monthly Business Planning (MBP) process - specifically organising the Monthly Gap Review (MGR).
- Co-ordinate and participate in Market Business Strategy (MBS).
- Challenge planning and allocation of financial resources is consistent and aligned with Dynamic Forecast (DF) / Market Business Strategy (MBS). Prepare supporting financial justifications.
- Promote understanding of the business drivers using KPIs and comparative benchmarking across the total business.
- Establish and promote clear accountabilities around target achievements and KPI delivery and performance.
- Promote thorough understanding of cost structures/drivers and create visibility and coherent common cost transparency within the business.
- Ensure execution of Pricing Policy / Margin is in-line with Agreed Strategies.

**What will make you successful**:

- Joining a collaborative team, you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a high-pressure environment. You have the demonstrated ability to adapt to fast paced changes. You will have a natural passion for data and an eye for detail.
- At least 5+ years’ work experience and understanding of a number of key financial areas, including Factory Accounting, Costing, Sales Finance, Distribution / Supply Chain and Decision Support.
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage internal and external global stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of FMCG industry; excellent Excel, SAP, Essbase, Business Intelligence tools knowledge essential.
