This International freight forwarder located in Pyrmont is seeking an experienced operator to join the team. In the role you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of import sea freight shipments and combined customer service duties and
**to be considered for this role it is essential that you have previous experience in freight forwarding operations & Cargowise is a must**

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- First point of contact for client enquiries
- Job registration, Pre-alerts, EDO's, Underbonds
- Chasing documentation and ensuring correct paperwork is received
- Passing documentation on for customs clearance
- Monitoring cargo availability, status & check transshipments
- Sea/Air cargo reporting
- Paying charges / Organise EDO's
- Organising local & interstate road & rail movements
- Finalising invoices to clients and overseas agents
- Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, customers, suppliers and internal staff

**Requirements for the role**:

- Solid understanding and proven experience in freight forwarding operations
- Cargowise experience is essential
- Ability to effectively interact with all internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise and time-manage
- Attention to detail
