Conference Producer

About the role:
The Conference Producer is responsible for creating and delivering the content vision for the event. Their role will involve researching, curating, and delivering the educational content through paid and free to attend conferences across several major B2B exhibitions across Australia.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Researching with industry professionals by phone and face to face to analyse important trends and extract critical information to write and develop quality driven conference programs
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, changes and needs of our attendees, speakers, supporters and event sponsors/exhibitors
- Sourcing, inviting, and confirming industry thought leaders to present
- Effectively communicating with senior leaders and industry partners to bring together an impactful speaker line up and engaging agenda
- Working effectively with the wider project team, including the Event Director, Marketing, Sales, Event Production and Operations to help facilitate the management and implementation of the conference
- Delivering your conference onsite, at times across multiple stages, within a busy and high paced show floor environment

Key Performance Indicators
- Develop a commercially viable conference in line with the event KPI’s stipulated in the event topic brief
- Create insightful agendas that bring in a positive response from industry attendees and increase attendance from key markets

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in producing commercial B2B conferences
- Able to spot trends, present ideas and see opportunities
- Ability to demonstrate excellent research, analytical and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with potential speakers, key event partners and attendees at all levels
- Demonstrate good organisation and time management skills and deliver projects within specified timelines
- Ability to multi-task on many different projects in different development phases
