Port of Brisbane, Australia Tough Yakka Full time

We are currently recruiting for experienced Steel Forklift Operators for potential ongoing casual opportunities near the Port of Brisbane. Shift times are from 5:00am - 1:30pm or 10:00am - 6:30pm, Mondays to Fridays.

Daily tasks & requirements include:

- Handling of steel products internal & external
- Forklift experience 1-3 years (up to 16t)
- Valid forklift license
- Daily unload of shipping containers, loading of trucks & picking orders - up to 26.5t of cargo per container
- Stock identification
- Good work ethic/attitude
- Good communication skills
- Can work under pressure
- Desire to be safe and follow OH&S guidelines
- Knowledge of load restraint guidelines
- Can work in a team environment
- Can work in a fast-paced environment

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.15 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work

**Experience**:

- steel handling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
