Procurement Specialist

SHINY is now seeking a full-time Procurement Specialist to fill a vacant position in Melbourne. 

To be successful in this role you must: 
- Hold a qualification equivalent to a Bachelor degree or higher in a highly relevant field.
- Have at least one year of full-time experience in a highly relevant procurement or sourcing role.
- Demonstrate strong skills in procurement data analysis, process coordination, supplier performance monitoring, and cross-team collaboration.
- Be able to interpret and support procurement governance, policies, and market-based sourcing strategies.
- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collect, verify, maintain procurement data related to garments and associated materials covering quantity, quality, quotation, contract price, delivery time, location, supplier, etc.
- Analyse procurement data to assess and monitor cost, effectiveness, to obtain market trend and industry benchmark.
- Use the analyses to support strategic sourcing decisions, procurement policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Coordinate end-to-end tendering and contract award processes, including preparation of evaluation materials and supplier communications.
- Research market trends and recommend process improvements in alignment with cost, quality, and supply objectives.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
