- Russo Higher Education (RHE) Pty Ltd are currently seeking a full time **Head of Campus**based in Brisbane CBD. This is working with James Cook University (JCU) Brisbane which is a campus of James Cook University Australia operated in partnership with RHE.
As the Head of Campus, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational management of JCU Brisbane. This role involves leading a diverse team, managing a portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and ensuring that the campus aligns with the University's strategic goals and regulatory obligations. You will work closely with JCU Australia leaders and the Russo Higher Education executive team to grow the campus and enhance its impact.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Leading and driving annual strategic and dynamic planning processes to align the Brisbane strategy with the JCU Australia overall plan and objectives.
- Building and managing the annual financial budget to achieve financial KPIs for growth and productivity.
- Fostering a performance culture among campus staff, characterised by continuous improvement, respect, engagement, and accountability.
- Ensuring the delivery of a high-quality academic portfolio in alignment with the JCU Australia Corporate Strategy.
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with RHE leadership, JCU Australia leaders, and key external stakeholders.
- Staying informed about national and global trends in International Higher Education and policy changes.
- Upholding the integrity and reputation of JCU Brisbane through sound planning, quality control practices, and compliance with regulatory obligations.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate**:

- Postgraduate qualifications at the PhD level and extensive relevant senior leadership and Higher Education sector experience.
- Expertise in business and strategic planning, with the ability to implement complex strategic and operational objectives.
- A strong understanding of budgetary and financial procedures in large organisations, with a proven track record of managing financial budgets.
- Advanced critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven management and leadership skills, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing colleagues.
