Trade Supervisor

**About the role** Mitre10 is currently seeking a Trade Supervisor to lead and motivate the Trade team at our site in Richmond, Victoria. **What we can offer you** Mitre 10 places a huge emphasis on succession planning, career development, training and cross divisional opportunities, making this a fantastic career opportunity in joining our Mitre 10 group. **What you will be doing** - Drive sales growth and improve EBIT contribution in the key categories of Trade, Building Materials and Timber products. - Communicate business strategy and ensure trade team have individual goals linked to site objectives. - Coach and mentor Trade team - Advocate an excellent customer service culture. - Ensure consistent pricing, discount and contract management. - Ensure best practice transport and delivery standards. - Deliver and support training and development of trade specific product knowledge. - Oversee the coordination of drivers and deliveries. - Liaise with trade desk accounts on a regular basis to establish, build and maintain good business relationships. **What you will bring** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience in developing and/or implementing new processes or systems. - Sound financial and business acumen. - Current drivers license. - Demonstrated trade experience/knowledge. - Flexibility to work in-line with retail trading hours, including some weekend work. - Hardware or other high volume retail experience. - Experience in either Store, Buying or multi site Retail Site Supervision - Experience with implementing CODB improvement practices and processes **About Us** Mitre 10 is the "Mighty Helpful' independent hardware store - Proudly Local, Helping Locals.
