- Assisting clients with their daily activities and personal care needs
- Providing physical and emotional support to ensure their overall well-being
- Facilitating social interactions and engagement in community activities
- Assisting with meal preparation and medication management, if required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client progress
- Complying with all safety guidelines and procedures
- Collaborating with the broader team to create a positive and inclusive environment

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid Blue Card and Yellow Card.
- Demonstrated experience with manual handling techniques and wheelchairs.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in fluent English, as the client has difficulty hearing.
- An understanding of the specific challenges faced by individuals with disabilities
- Compassion, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- A commitment to providing tailored support that respects the dignity and individuality of each client
- Availability to work approximately 14 hours per week with flexibility regarding shifts

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $33.00 per hour

- Weekend availability

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Nursing/Disability: 2 years (required)

- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Blue Card (required)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (yellow card) (required)
