We are seeking qualified and experienced Excavator Fitters to assist us to maintain our fleet at Middlemount Mine in regional Queensland.
Key skills and attributes:

- Responsible for servicing and maintenance of a large fleet of Liebherr R996 and R9400 Excavators
- Working day and night shifts on a 7/7 roster, for 12.5-13hr shifts
- Ensure planned service and maintenance is carried out within scheduled time requirements
- Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
- Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance

Applicants must have:

- A trade certificate with post-trade experience or equivalent experience (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic)
- Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Queensland driver licence
- Experience with heavy earth moving equipment, specifically large mining Excavators
