ALS is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our metallurgical services business based at our Iron Ore Technical Centre (IOTC) in the suburb of Wangara, Perth, Western Australia. Successful applicants will become part of its busy metallurgical testing laboratories that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results and by maintaining strong relationships with its clients.

Initially, these positions are full time casual positions with a view to permanent employment after a period of service. These are not FIFO mine site positions.

These are physically demanding positions that require applicants to be physically fit, have access to reliable transportation and be able to work day and afternoon shifts.

T
**he day to day**
- Handling and preparation of Iron ore samples (inventorying, crushing, blending, and pulverising)
- Grinding, size analysis, filtering, drying and sample submissions
- Iron ore related testing (drop tower, bulk density, jigging and magnetic separation)

**The essentials**
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and be highly motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
