Field Service Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair various weighing and measuring instruments and scales, including but not limited to platform scales, bench scales, metal detectors, x-ray inspection, load cells, and indicators.
- Conduct regular calibration and product validation checks to ensure that instruments and scales are operating at optimal levels and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Use technical manuals, schematics, and other documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships by providing excellent service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns, and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Keep accurate records of all service calls, maintenance visits, and repairs completed, and provide regular reports to management.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on job sites, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, both on job sites and in the workshop.
- Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on new products and technologies in the industry.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree in electronics, instrumentation or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of weighing and measuring instruments and scales.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and drawings.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to job sites within the assigned territory with occasional interstate travel
- NMI certification would be highly regarded although not a requirement.

**Salary**: $53,311.82 - $75,000.00 per year
