**About the role**
Located in the beautiful Southern Downs, surrounded by luscious landscaped gardens, Warwick Aged Care service is searching for our next maintenance superstar.
Working a flexible roster, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance services including preventative and corrective duties while utilising our asset management system to complete all relevant record keeping and administration tasks.
Your days will be varied and you will also:
- Undertake general maintenance work including, but not limited to, repairs, installation and cleaning;
- Undertake grounds maintenance including, but not limited to, mowing, fertilising, pruning and garden refuse removal.
Remuneration for this role is $24.67 - $24.87 per hour commensurate with experience.
**About you**
You are an experienced, highly organised Maintenance Officer with a proven capability to self-manage and prioritise. Your excellent communication skills and compassionate nature will allow to you to build relationships with our much-loved residents as you resolve gardening and maintenance issues as they arise.
As the Maintenance Officer, ideally your experience and qualifications include:
- Previous experience in residential aged care, retirement living or community services environment is highly regarded;
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance or landscaping role;
- Knowledge of work health and safety requirements, or the ability to acquire within one month of employment;
- A current driver's licence;
- Possess a current National Police Check, or the willingness to acquire one.

- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be up to date with their COVID-19 Vaccination.
