** About the role**
- This key role is aligned to the delivery of allied health assistant interventions as part of a bed based Social Work service. You will be responsible in assisting Social workers with their bed based patients in the provision of best practice patient care as well as non-clinical duties that support the efficient operation of a busy service environment. This is a great opportunity to build and develop your skills as a Grade 3 AHA.-
- **About you**
- To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is required (academic transcript of completion required) if applicable or currently undertaking undergraduate Social Work studies 3rd year or 4th year-
- Experience within an bed based hospital stream is desirable-
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and communication both written and oral-
- A strong commitment to high quality care-
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team-
- Excellent time management and organisational skill- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
