**About the role**:
You will lead regulatory actions focused on waste transport, including inspections, compliance monitoring, education, and enforcement. Reporting to the Team Leader and working closely with a supportive team, you’ll prevent harm to the environment while contributing to a positive organisational culture.

**In this role you will**:

- Conduct regulatory operations related to waste transport, ensuring compliance with environmental laws.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive improved public health and environmental outcomes.
- Support investigations, preventative projects, and emergency response efforts.
- Represent EPA Victoria in building community awareness of environmental protection laws.

**Skills and experience**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (desirable) and experience in waste transport regulation.
- Project delivery skills including risk management and task prioritisation.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and proven ability to deliver regulatory operations.
- Innovative thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build enduring relationships.
