With a stunning view overlooking the marina, our clinic combines modern technology with a warm and inviting atmosphere to provide a wide range of dental services.

As a growing practice, we're dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment, where every team member is valued and given opportunities for growth. We are seeking a casual or full-time Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team. This is a dual role offering a balance between chair-side assistance and front desk management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare treatment rooms at the start of each day and clean up the practice at closing.
- Ensure sterilisation of dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Assist our dentists during a variety of procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics and dental implants.
- Take and develop digital X-rays as needed.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, updating dental charts and medical histories.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and process patient registration forms.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using practice management software.
- Answer phone calls and address patient enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage patient billing, health fund claims and payment processing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and manage patient files with accuracy.
- Ensure the reception area and clinic are clean, organised and welcoming.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or Receptionist is preferred.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Growth mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
