**The Opportunity**

You will collaborate with our nursing team to deliver care to patients in our day surgery unit. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the AIN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provide the highest quality of care to all patients and customers. There is also an opportunity to work in other clinical areas of the hospital such as our day surgery unit.

**Skills and Experience**

To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate a collaborative and enthusiastic team spirit, showcasing excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

To be successful you will also possess:

- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or be currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year Registered Nursing student.
- Availability to work a flexible roster covering all shifts across 7 days of the week
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to direction
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
- Understanding of infection control principles
