Job Title: Nursing Professional

As a skilled Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our aged care facilities.

  • Clinical Care: Assess and manage residents' health conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as required.
  • Wound Management: Manage and dress wounds, prevent infections, and promote proper wound healing.
  • Health Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain accurate medical records, and document changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Pain Management: Address pain concerns and implement pain management strategies to ensure optimal patient comfort.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinate the response as necessary.
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
