**Full Job Description**

This amazing private owned 60 place child care centre in Hurstville hold a high reputation within our local community, they are seeking an experienced Diploma or ECT qualified 2IC to join the team. Street parking is available as well as a short 5-10 minute walk to the nearest Bus and Train Station.

The role of an Assistant Director is to support the Director in delivering operational service and quality to our children, team members, and families. The Assistant Director will help lead the day-to-day operations ensuring that Campus Quality Framework and WH&S requirements are met. A strong reliance on constructive communication and collaboration between the campus teams and families is a critical component of this role. The Assistant Director will be actively supporting the teams by supporting them on the floor if required.

**Duties also include**
- To ensure children's wellbeing, learning needs and interests are addressed through a high quality education
- Meet and Greet families, children and visitors at the service
- Rostering, administration and enrolments
- Manage incoming/outgoing phone enquiries
- Assist the service manager with conducting tours
- Assist the service manager with interviews, phone screening, references and finalising new starters
- Manage family accounts
- Compliance documents within the service
- Assist on the floor when required
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**Essential**
- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education; (NEW Grads ECT or WT ECT accepted)
- Current Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- As a 2IC the ability to plan, implement and evaluate early childhood programs as required by the EYLF;
- Sound understanding of National Education and Care Services
- Regulation;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Working with Children Check number

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hurstville, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
