**ABOUT US**

The **Maxwell Underground Mine**, owned by **Malabar Resources Ltd** has commenced construction with production planned of up to 8 million tonnes of coal per annum. With a long life, the underground mine targets high quality coal, with the majority being metallurgical coal.

As an Apprentice of the Maxwell Underground Mine, you will enjoy the excitement and challenge of developing experience and knowledge to contribute to building an operation that is better, safer, and more productive.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

If you are the successful applicants, you will:

- Develop your knowledge and experience as a tradesperson by completing all aspects of formal, and inform, training associated with the Apprenticeship.
- Actively contribute to a safe work environment though hazard identification, incident reporting and housekeeping.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Engineering Team by developing into a high performing tradesman.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Completion of schooling to Year 10, or equivalent
- Sound computer and communication skills
- A genuine interest in a Mechanical or Electrical Trade
- Successful completion of a Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical would be advantageous.
