This is a great opportunity for a competitive, dedicated and passionate swimming squad coach looking to take their career to the next level

**The Role** The
**Assistant Squad Coach** will deliver quality swimming lessons and student development. The role will require early mornings, evenings and weekend work, across Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and, Cook & Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre. Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Promotion and growth of club and swim team program
- Assisting in planning and supervising workouts of the swim team
- Communicating as necessary with parents, students and other coaches regarding assignments, swimmer progress and events
- Attending of swim meets as scheduled - Conducting try out for new swimmers and parent orientation

**About You**
- Teacher of Competitive Swimming / Competitive Strokes or Bronze level Qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Previous experience and success in a comparable role
- Excellent verbal communication skills
