**About the role**:
In this role, you will assist and prepare various P & L (Profit and Loss) and BS (Balance Sheet) reporting as well as proactively seek further improvements for accurate and effective data management. You will also be expected to assist various expatriate payroll duties.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Profit & Loss Management:

- Assist in the preparation of the monthly profit, expenses and BS result report, including data verification and clarification.
- Analyse and verify raw data to ensure final reports are prepared accurately.
- Prepare and provide required data upon request from Management, Head Office and your manager
- Update existing database and seek further improvements
- Liaise with the Accounting department to ensure correct profit and expense recognition
- Prepare and update loan and deposit balance data
- Assist your manager in relevant committee preparation

BSC KPI Performance Management:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly results progress and estimate on financial KPIs

Expatriate Payroll Review:

- Review various working files (both Australia and New Zealand) to ensure it is in line with Tokyo Head Office Policy and local taxation rule on regular basis
- Fringe Benefit Tax cost allocation for internal reporting
- Any other ad-hoc matters as required

**What we are looking for**:
Please note this role requires a Japanese speaker.

You’re a self-starter, able to work under your own initiative to deliver fit for purpose and customer centric outcomes. You’re highly organised, able to multitask and work autonomously and proactively. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills are essential.

You will have a degree in a related discipline. CA or CPA qualified is desirable, but not essential.
