This Student Placement for Community Services, Mental Health or AOD certification provides support and assistance for group activities and programs and assists in administrative tasks related to activities. We are seeking an enthusiastic student to join our amazing team to help us achieve the best response outcomes for our clients.

The Salvation Army Bendigo offers Community Services, Mental Health and AOD programs to provide support and assistance to a diverse range of clients.

We are seeking an enthusiastic student to join our amazing and collaborative team to provide support and assistance for group activities, programs and assist in administrative tasks related to activities to achieve the best response outcomes for our clients.

## Key Tasks Of The Role
- Maintain confidentiality of interactions during group time
- Engage and manage the group dynamics and individuals
- Proficient provision and conduct of facilitation
- Timely and considered referrals
- Compliance with policies and procedures
- Ensure supportive and caring environment for attendees
- Report any health and safety concerns to Manager
- Safe environment created for children and vulnerable people

## Mandatory Requirements Of The Role
- Complete The Salvation Army's volunteer registration, training and induction modules, and any other training as required
- Integrity Checks (Police Check) will be required

## About You
- Experience in relevant field highly regarded.

## Time Commitment
- This Student Placement is specifically short-term unpaid role of up to 38 hours per week totaling a maximum of 400 hours or according to their Tertiary Education Placement requirements.
