Static Security Officer

We are currently seeking the services of reliable and experienced Security Officers to join our team in Adelaide. The position is based at a chemist located in **Norwood, South Australia.** In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and safety of the store, its staff, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include guarding the premises, monitoring CCTV, interacting with and screening customers, and responding promptly to security issues and emergencies. To be successful, you will have excellent verbal and written English skills with the ability to work night shifts Monday to Sunday (2200-0800) on a rotating roster. You will also have excellent desktop and communications skills and have a passion for customer service delivery which will exceed client expectations and set the bar high. You will also possess: - Current SA Security Licence - Current First Aid Certificate - Team orientated nature and excellent communication skills - The ability and confidence to respond to emergency & medical situations - Excellent presentation and grooming - Drive and motivation to improve services and processes as required - High-level customer service focus with a "can-do" attitude - Professional with excellent interpersonal skills and respectful attitude towards team members, customers, and clients **Job Types**: Permanent, Casual **Salary**: From $43,622.34 per year Schedule: - 10 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay - Penalty rates Licence/Certification: - Security Licence (required) - First Aid Certification (preferred) - Driver Licence (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred) Ability to Commute: - Norwood, SA 5067 (preferred) Work Location: In person
