Scope are onboarding new clients and looking for 6 support workers to join our 2 Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites in Tahmoor.

You will support a diverse range of male clients with intellectual, physical, and psychosocial disabilities who require may high levels of physical support. This includes assistance with personal care, manual handling, mealtime and epilepsy management.

This is ideal for reliable, process driven and confident in capacity building and supporting people hit their goals and to be a part of their community

**Please note**:All applicants must have full-time working rights and able to work a variety of 6-2pm, 2-10pm and 10-6am and SO.

**Your role**
- Supporting adults with complex mental health and, intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
- Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and control and show willingness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.

**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm
- 11pm), sleepover (5pm-9am).

**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required.
