**The Role**
This full-time (with flexibility)
**Dental Practice Admin Assistant** role demonstrates the ability/willingness to learn to confidently assist the entire team and possess a strong understanding of the complexities of a dental environment. The position is expected to assist duties in the following areas:
- Supporting the dental clinical team in the day-to-day running of the practice
- Data Entry - updating patient records/ initiating recalls
- General office scanning, patient historical files etc
- Learning the specifics of the ongoing appointment schedule
- Supporting the reception staff, and ‘jumping in’ where required
- Be professionally presented in line with the practice code
- Positive interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with other dental professionals
- Learning the requirements for stock control, dealing with dental materials and clerical supplies, with guidance from the practice manager
- Appreciating that no two days are the same and that the entire team are working together, for the betterment of each other and the practice
