**About the Company**

ACRWORLD is proudly partnering with Everoze for the recruitment of a Lead BESS Advisor. Everoze is an employee-owned technical and commercial advisory, specialising in renewables, storage, hydrogen and wider energy flexibility. Originally set up in the UK in 2015, they now operate across the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Singapore and Australia.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a recognised leader in the energy storage sector, with experience working for a BESS OEM, integrator, developer or as a consultant, combined with significant experience in renewables or the wider energy industry. As Lead BESS Advisor, you will be advising developers, owners, investors and lenders on utility-scale battery storage, through technical and commercial consultancy services. Experience in network connections and an electrical engineering background will be highly valued.

**Responsibilities**
- Due diligence: Examining multiple aspects of utility-scale battery storage projects covering the technology, design, project agreements, contracts, financial model etc.
- Project support: Supporting project owners in the process of specifying and procuring battery systems and with technical support through detailed design, construction and commissioning.
- Site visits: Visiting sites to witness on-site testing, check the quality of builds and liaising with the owner, operator and contractors to follow progress and identify design or construction issues.
- Winning work: Building client relationships and expanding our business.
- Taking the lead: On the above types of projects, taking on a Project Manager or Project Director role on large and complex projects.

**Skills and Experience**
- Technical degree from a leading university
- In depth technical knowledge of energy storage systems
- Significant technical experience in the electricity generation or renewables
- Experience in due diligence, owners engineering, construction monitoring or asset management is preferable.
- Experience in contract and supply chain negotiations, project financing, M&A Knowledge or experience of energy markets, aggregation etc. is highly valued.
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
