**Job Number**: 500117 **The details**: - Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight - $67,642 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super + leave loading - 76 hour fortnight - Location: Bribie Island Depot Join our Roads and Drains team as a Labourer and play a vital role in maintaining our community's civil and transport infrastructure - including working on the canals. Working closely with a crew leader, you'll be at the forefront of operational maintenance of Council's valuable assets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your designated area remains safe, tidy, and defect-free. Some of the tasks include: - regular removal of debris from canals by boat - installing and replacing road signs - pathways, kerb and channel repairs - replacing manholes - conducting fence repairs - replacing lintels and grates - repairing headwalls - clearing open drains - fixing traffic island defects - general tidying up of public areas Your work will directly contribute to the upkeep of our civil and transport infrastructure, making a tangible difference in our community's safety and appearance.
