Shared Services Leader of 20 ++ (AP, Project team members) - Lead a large team and deliver AP and PSP improvements - Attractive six figure salary package + WFH flexibility This is a newly created Team Leader opportunity that has resulted from significant transformation, the implementation of P2P technology and team member transition. The Accounts Payable Transformation Team Leader will now lead the team through the next phase of transformation and ensure the effective and efficient delivery of full end to end Accounts Payable processes, in a complex, high volume environment. The organization is one of Queensland's largest, with multiple sites, lines of business, operating models, ERP's and internal systems. Success requires demonstrated expertise in leading large Shared Services teams, promoting a true "business partnering" approach to all activities and aligning Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay processes to best practice. In addition to managing the AP function for all entities and being the escalation point for any supplier / vendor issues and tracking performance against key SLA's and KPI's, this role will analyse data and identify areas for continuous improvement. This requires designing future state, prioritising process enhancements and leading a range of project and automation activities. Team members are engaged, motivated and keen to adopt new ways of working and technology enhancements, which will require you to build capability in some areas and coach and mentor in others. Planning, training, conducting regular one on ones and incorporating succession planning into team development, is also critical for success. You are ideally a tertiary qualified professional whose background combines a strong understanding of accounting, AP and P2P processes and project management. You have expertise leading large teams in a Finance, Transactional or Shared Services environment and good ability to research, investigate, analyse and provide practical solutions to AP issues. Ideally you have also been involved in P2P and AP digital transformation initiatives that have resulted in significant cost reduction and efficiency gains. Prior Coupa experience will be highly regarded. On a personal level you are solutions focussed, analytical, able to engage, negotiate, influence, challenge and communicate effectively on all levels. You have strong technology skills including MS Excel, proven ability to interpret, analyse, multi-task and manage competing priorities.
