**Advisor - Allocations & Rostering**
**About the Role**
You will be responsible for supporting the allocation, rostering and day-to-day coordination and management of JMS trainees across multiple specialist training pathways at RCH and across secondment site partners, initially focusing on the transition of individual clinical units to the RosterOn electronic platform.
**What you’ll achieve**:
- Assist clinical units in the review and development of JRMO, SRMO and/or Registrar rosters across multiple specialist training pathways, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with formatting and publishing requirements.
- Translate roster patterns to roster builds within the RosterOn platform.
- Provide administration staff within clinical units with education and training in use of the RosterOn platform, including roster allocations, roster maintenance/amendments, leave management and payroll approvals.
- Provide support to the Team Leader, Allocations and Rostering on roster allocations, roster builds and RosterOn system management specific to JMS within the basic paediatric training program.
Classification for this position will range from AO41 - AO55 classification codes (base salary $83,658 to $102,653 per annum, plus superannuation)
**Your skills and experience**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in working as a workforce or rostering coordinator within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in various information technology platforms and systems, including RosterOn and Microsoft Office
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a broader administrative team
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience working within a large, tertiary healthcare setting

**About the Medical Workforce Unit**
- The Medical Workforce Unit oversees the centralised recruitment, onboarding and coordination of junior medical staff (JMS)/paediatric trainees, working both on-site at RCH and rotating through various external Victorian secondment sites.
