A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as a Networks Optimiser, reporting to the Workflow Delivery Manager.
A bit about your role
The Networks Optimiser is accountable for taking the capacity plan and producing an optimal work order schedule to execute utilising the nbn Networks field workforce. This includes ensuring all work orders are scheduled and are aligned to business and operational priorities to meet SLAs.
Key responsibilities cover both Before The Day (BTD) and On The Day (OTD) tasks. This can include but not limited to work order validation (receipting, validating and enriching work orders, on-site contacts, pre-visit requirements, special equipment etc), creating project plans (for certain work types including MAC, future workspace), preparation and completion of make-ready functions, coordination of outages / CRQ activities and asset management for routine maintenance.

You have a proactive mindset and can actively seek out opportunities to drive process improvement initiatives.
You will showcase strong multi-tasking capabilities, the ability to effectively manage real
- time jeopardy situations and provide feedback to key stakeholders including Field supervisors and Internal Resolver Groups.
Finally, you are comfortable working with ambiguity and can quickly adapt based on changing conditions and a dynamic rollout schedule.
