Accounts Receivable Officer

C3Talent have partnered with a well-established supplier in Australia who specialise in providing a diverse range of products.
The responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Officer will be
- Conduct a high volume of outbound collection calls
- Manage all allocated accounts adhering to company credit terms and policies, including overseeing customer orders on hold and release approvals
- Serve as the primary contact/resolution for all external customer inquiries and internal requests related to sales processing and account settlement
- Provide regular accounts receivable reporting to the management team on a weekly/monthly/ad hoc basis
- Proactively identify and implement strategies to address challenging customer issues, such as closed accounts, disputed claims, and deliveries
- Deliver efficient, responsive, and helpful customer service to both internal and external customers while meeting targets for collections and Debtors days.
The successful applicant will have the following
- 2+ years of experience as a Collections/Accounts Receivable Officer, managing a substantial customer base
- Proven track record in achieving results with challenging customers
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (essential)
- Advantageous: Experience with MYOB Advanced
