Exciting opportunity for Machine Operators in the Steel Manufacturing Industry in Canberra.

**Your new company**

This company is a proud recycler, manufacturer, and distributor of steel reinforcing products. With two companies working together in ACT and NSW, you'll be working in their Queanbeyan factory. With state-of-the-art machinery, this company is continuously growing its production capacity and is in need of a machine operator to join their team.

**Your new role**

As a machine operator, you will be reporting to the factory team leader. You will work Monday to Friday. You will be based in the factory and work alongside a team of 10. You will be responsible for loading the materials in the machines, and operating said machines to cut and bend steel.

**What you'll need to succeed**

The successful applicant will have:

- Machine operating experience
- Experience working with steel
- The ability to lift items up to 20kg
- The ability to work autonomously and/or as part of a team
- Reliable transport, as there is little public transport near the factory

**What you'll get in return**
- $37.96 plus overtime
- Minimum 38 hours over 5 days
