This well-established and employee focused service seek a motivated and highly personable team leader for their stable Toowoomba region, the purpose of this service is to help individuals and teams bring out the best in themselves, their colleagues, and the organisation. They take a different approach to occupational rehabilitation, helping clients thrive in the workplace. Their services are diverse, have an early intervention focus and include critical incident response, onsite support, team support services and complex case management.
This team leader position is an exciting opportunity to assist with the growth and development of the established allied health team working in the Darling Downs/Toowoomba region. The role also contributes to the organisation’s local presence, building on existing relationships & initiating new partnerships with key stakeholders. **The role**:
**Team Leader responsibilities**:
- Mentor and lead a team of consultants in the Toowoomba region - making debriefing & training a high priority & focus.
- Assisting management with workflow allocations
- ensuring your team have a large focus on early intervention.
- Staff management duties such as: time/shift management, leave approvals, responding to staff requests, conduct case reviews, review & audit reports & other work.
**Senior Consultant responsibilities**:
- When required, complex case management for a range of clients across
- Workers Compensation, DVA, CTP, one off assessments & more.
- Involvement in critical incident response & onsite support services.
- Deliver quality services with a focus on early intervention.
**Business Growth & Development responsibilities**:
- Continue progress on existing projects
- visiting workplaces in person when required.
- Attend management meetings & regional stakeholder events
- ensuring a high local presence.
- Collaborate with management on future projects
- contributing your expertise & industry knowledge to project specifics.
- Achieving marketing and business development targets.
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualification in either Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (with relevant registration).
- At least 2 years Occupational Rehabilitation experience.
- Exposure & experience in some leadership duties as detailed above.
- Likeminded person with similar values to this organisation and a passion for providing a high quality and genuine service to connect people through work.
- High initiative, ability to think outside the box & a willingness to contribute fresh ideas that will benefit the business.
- Excellent time management, organisation skills & compassionate nature with proven success in achieving health outcomes.
